Clark Kent and Switchfoot had to deal with mouse damage this morning so I took the time to catch up on my blog and got a very late start on the trail. We were still on the alternate, and it is beautiful but more rugged than the PCT.
The rain stopped overnight but it was still cloudy until late afternoon, when bits of blue sky began peeking through. A lot of the trail was muddy and slippery.
We finally made it back to the PCT at the end of the day and set up camp at the Waptus River. Only 15.2 miles today. Being on a different trail from the PCT felt weird so it’s good to be back.
Beautiful views!
